Privacy Policy
Guru Route collects no data. It has no servers, no accounts and no analytics.
The app
- Guru Route sends nothing anywhere. It has no servers of its own, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
- For each connection of the apps you chose, it decides the route: through your VPN or direct. It doesn’t read or store what’s inside the connections.
- Your settings, such as the list of apps and the chosen VPN, stay on your Mac.
- The Connections window keeps the latest 1,000 connections in memory only. Nothing is written to disk, and the list is cleared when the extension restarts.
- Diagnostic messages go to the macOS system log on your Mac. They leave your Mac only if you send a macOS diagnostic report yourself.
Purchases
Apple handles the purchase. We don’t get your name, email or payment details. We see only the sales reports Apple gives every developer.
Crash reports
If you allowed sharing with app developers in macOS, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. You can turn this off in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
This website
No cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks.
If you write to support@gururoute.net, we use your address and message only to reply. Mail is forwarded by Cloudflare to our Gmail mailbox.
We don’t sell or share data
We don’t sell your data and don’t share it with anyone, except the two services named above: Cloudflare delivers the site and the mail, Google keeps the mailbox.
Who is responsible
Nikita Gursky, the developer of Guru Route. Privacy questions: support@gururoute.net. You can ask what we have about you and ask us to delete it. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If the app starts handling data differently, we update this page before the new version comes out.
